1. Civil defence services and civil defence plan belonged to our

central organization has been updated.

2. Training seminars on subjects of Defence, Civil Defence, Protection

and Security were held between 9-12 June 2003 in Antalya H. Mehmet Gebizli

Training Centre, and between 23-26 June 2003 in Erzurum M. Nuri Yılmaz Training

Centre. All civil defence chiefs employed in Mufti offices and Training Centres

in provinces have participated in these seminars.

3. “DISASTER 2003 Crisis Management Operation” was held under the

coordination of National Security Committee General Secretary between 16-18

December 2003, with the participation of officers from the Department of the

Turkish General Staff, Ministries, various establishments and institutions, and

our Presidency.

4. Some Mufti Offices in districts and provinces have been visited,

advice and guidance on various subjects were offered to them by our personnel in

order to perform services during mobilization or war without any delay, to see

and control whether civil defence and security services are good enough to meet

the demands in peace and war.
