1. Presidential Service Building:

For a better and effective service, a building-site of 36971 m2 had been

provided from the Ministry of Agriculture. Foundation of the service building

was laid in 1991. By 09/07/2001, the construction was finished and accepted

temporarily. The units of the Presidency had moved in the building between

27/09/2001-15/10/2001, and continue to give service there since then.

2. Signing of a Protocol with AVEA:

An institutional subscription protocol was signed between the Presidency and

AVEA to the extent that it would cover the whole personnel of the Presidency.

3. Education Support Campaign:

Our personnel working in the headquarters of the Presidency gave support to

the “Full Support Campaign for Education” that was started by the Ministry of

National Education for 12 months. Up to now, the amounts of money collected in

the fund is nine hundred billion TL. nearly.

Due to the protocol signed betwen the related Ministries, the foundation of

Mehmet Rifat Borekci Primary School was laid by State Minister Prof. Mehmet

AYDIN, National Education Minister Assistant Prof. Huseyin CELIK, and Prof. Ali

BARDAKOGLU, the President of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, on 1 October

2004 in Mamak, Ankara. This school will be constructed by our Presidency.

4. Tree-Planting Campaign:

Due to the protocol signed between the Ministry of Environment & Forests and

our Presidency, for a greener Turkey, the planting of half of 1.500.000 young

trees has been completed, and the remaining will be planted in autumn.

5. Diyanet (Religious Affairs) House:

2005 onwards, in order to meet the cultural and social needs of the

personnel, it is planned to build “Diyanet House” in every province, starting

with the big provinces.
