President of Religious Affairs Prof. Ali Erbaş, in his statement in response to the United States of America to declare al-Quds to remain the undivided capital of Israel, regarded such steps as evil and unlawful and emphasized that al-Quds was, is, and will be the eternal capital of the State of Palestine.

President of Religious Affairs Prof. Ali Erbaş posted a message on his social media accounts in response to the United States of America to declare al-Quds to remain the undivided capital of Israel.

Prof. Erbaş regarded as evil and unlawful the steps taken within the scope of the so-called Middle East Peace Plan, claimed to be designed to "find solutions" to the Palestine-Israel issue.

Stressing the fact that al-Quds is the eternal capital of the State of Palestine, Prof. Erbaş said in his statement,

"Al-Quds, the ever-present city of human history and the first direction to which Muslims turned for worship (qiblah), is facing an unlawful intervention today. This evil intervention disregarding the humanity, the ever-present tradition, and the international law aims unlawfully to make al-Quds the capital city of Israel on Palestine soil. It needs to be known very well that al-Quds is the eternal capital of the State of Palestine."
