ŞEHİRLEŞME SÜRECİNDE KOMŞULUK İLİŞKİLERİ VE İSLÂM

     Özet:

     Şehirleşme, sosyal bir olgudur. Tarih boyunca dünyanın hemen her yerinde irili ufaklı şehirler kurulmuştur. Son yüzyıla kadar insanlığın büyük çoğunluğu köy ve kırsal alanda ve tarıma bağlı olarak hayatını devam ettirmiştir. Ancak Batı dünyasında özellikle Rönesans ve Reform hareketleriyle birlikte sanayileşme ve şehirleşme hız kazanmıştır. Bu süreç Batı toplumları üzerinde etkili olduğu gibi, dünyanın diğer ülkeleri üzerinde de artan bir hızla etkili olmaktadır.

     Şehirleşme süreci komşuluk ilişkileri üzerinde de etkili olarak, komşuların birbirlerinden habersiz bir şekilde yaşamalarına neden olmaktadır. Bu durum bütünüyle böyledir demek, aşırı bir genelleme anlamına gelmektedir. Ancak yaşanan ve tecrübe edilen sosyal gerçeklik, şehirleşme sürecinde komşuluk ilişkilerinin önemli ölçüde zayıfladığıdır.

     Komşuların birbirleriyle yakınlaşma ve dayanışmalarında İslam dininin ortaya koyduğu öğretiler ve Hz. Peygamber'in uygulamaları anlamlı ve manidar gözükmektedir. Bizzat Kur'an-ı Kerim'de yakın ve uzak komşu tanımlaması yapılarak onlara iyilikte bulunulması tavsiye edilmektedir. Hz. Peygamber de, gerek söz gerekse uygulamalarıyla komşuluk ilişkilerine büyük önem vermiştir. O'nun ortaya koyduğu komşuluk örneği bugün de anlamlılığını ve geçerliliğini sürdürmektedir. Hatta komşuluk ilişkilerinin sağlam bir temele oturması anlamında O'nun söz, fiil ve takrirlerine büyük ihtiyaç bulunmaktadır.

     The Relationship of Neighborhood and Islam in The Urbanization Process 

     Abstract:

     Urbanization is a social fact. There have been established many towns throughout the world during the history. The majority of man kind led life, relating themselves with the villages and countryside, depending on agriculture. But with the renaissance and reformation eras, industrialization and urbanization won great gravity. This process has been gradually affecting on the Western societies as well as on the other societies in the world.

     The Urbanization process, influencing on the relationships in the neighborhood, has caused the neighbors to live their lives without recognizing of their next doors and without knowing each other. To say that "this happens in this way as a whole" has hinted an hasty generalization about that. Nevertheless, the social reality lived and experienced is the fact that the relationship of the neighborhood has been getting weakened during the urbanization process.

     The teachings of Islam especially the practices of the Holy Prophet on the matters of being closer and collaboration- affairs amongst the neighbors seem to be meaningful and significant. There in the Holy Qur'an itself, it is advised to be good towards them, defining the close and far-away neighbors. The Prophet, either in his speeches or in his practices, has given great significance to the relationship of the neighbors. His unique sample about the neighborhood has been leading its meaningfulness and validity through centuries even at this age. Furthermore there is a great necessity to have His speeches, actions and approvals in the context of fixing up the relationship of the neighborhood.
