Let us praise endlessly for our Almighty Allah (swt) who brought us to the joy of the Eid after the mercy and fertility climate of the month of Ramadan. Let us salat and salam to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) who brought us the call of peace, brotherhood and solidarity of Islam.
Eids are divine gifts that bring us together in the consciousness of being an Ummah with the same intention and purpose, strengthen our sense of brotherhood and remind us our values of belief and civilization.
These are exceptional periods of time that blend our faith, worship and culture in an atmosphere of tranquility, refresh our consciousness of being a Muslim and staying a Muslim, keep our will to unite alive and bring us continuity in the scene of history.
Eids are an immense scene of unity in which the divine edict of the Almighty Allah (swt) as "The Believers are but a single Brotherhood" is most clearly manifested in all classes of the society.
Now on one hand, we live the sadness of leaving the month of Ramadan which is the season of mercy and forgiveness behind, and on the other hand, we are in the excitement and joy of reaching the Eid which is the climate of love and brotherhood. We are experiencing the peace and abundance that the month we have spent in worship and goodness brought to our heart and life. We are reviving the Eid of a sacred season with the best examples of helping and sharing.
We all are aware the fact that when the Eids are celebrated with everyone together, they find their true meaning. In this respect, let us celebrate the Eid of our loved ones by telephone and communication means in these days when we have to stay at our homes. Let us all call our, elders, relatives and close friends, especially parents to ask their wellbeing, and have their blessings. Let us contribute the oppressed, the lonely, the needy and the orphans to live the joy of the Eid as well. In particular, let us have our children experience the excitement of the Eid in our homes. Let us remember our loved ones who passed away to the Hereafter in our duas.
An important case in these days when we revive the sacred atmosphere of a blessed time is to continue, with the same determination and commitment, the values of ours such as the consciousness of servanthood, awareness of worship, sense of responsibility, ethics of mercy, helping, solidarity, sharing and being someone for those who have no one on their side which make us who we are, which we have been embracing again on the occasion of Ramadan. It is to bring the abundance of the month of Ramadan and the beauty of the Eid to a whole life. Because we need it more than ever.
Because today our world is going through a painful and uncertain process caused by a virus that has caused the death of hundreds of thousands of people and affected millions of people deeply. In this context, it is a fact that humanity on a global scale is experiencing an anxiety, hopelessness, desperation and a decrease on the self-confidence. Therefore, we must continue to challenge with perseverance and hope, patience and fortitude, trust and duas and guide the humanity in this sense by taking all the necessary precautions.
Because we know that our honorable nation has overcome many difficulties such as war, natural disaster, epidemic disease and economic troubles from past to present with the spirit of unity, solidarity and helping each other. Indeed, in this challenging process, the admirable attitude presented by our state and nation clearly shows this. I have to express it with utmost importance that this noble attitude of our grateful nation increases our hope for good days to come with the permission and grace of the Almighty Allah (swt).
Acting with those feelings and thoughts, I celebrate the Eid al-Fitr of our honorable nation and the Islamic World, and request this Eid to contribute to the salvation of all Muslims and the whole humanity from the Almighty Allah (swt).
