I hope that its congregation is going to be a crowded one. I hope that it is going to serve Muslims' prayer life and religious education.”

Pointing out the fact that mosques should be used more effectively, the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş said, “It is really important for our children and young people to receive education in mosques. Our mosques are the most suitable places to learn about the clear and righteous religion of Islam, the Almighty Allah (swt), Prophet Muhammad (saw), and the Holy Qur'an. Insha’Allah, our mosques today are going to undertake the mission of Masjid al-Nabawi in the time of the Prophet Muhammad and are going to contribute to all kinds of spiritual development of our people and our nation.”

The President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş thanked those who contributed to the construction of the mosque and said, “May the Almighty Allah (swt) be pleased with everyone who contributed. May the Almighty Allah (swt) bless everyone who contributed from the stages of planning to completion. The Prophet Muhammad (saw) said, ‘He who built a mosque for Allah, the Exalted, Allah (swt) would build for him a house in Paradise.’ I hope that He will grant that position everyone who has contributed so far, insha'Allah.”

Mayor of Kardzhali Hasan Azis and Kardzhali Regional Mufti Basri Eminefendi thanked the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş for the support given by the Presidency of Religious Affairs for the construction of the mosque.

“We are trying to lay the foundations to continue our unity until the end of the world, insha'Allah”

Afterwards, the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş went to the Kardzhali Central Mosque. Leading the dhuhr prayer, the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş addressed the people of Kardzhali after the prayer.

Stating that they brought greetings from Turkey, the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş said, “Your Turkish brothers and sisters greet you. Our unity and togetherness are so strong that we are no different from each other, our hearts beat as one. Unity of hearts is so important. We are trying to lay the foundations to continue this unity until the end of the world, insha'Allah. These foundations are built with love and respect. It is formed by remembering each other in our best days. It is formed by sharing our sorrows and joys. I hope this unity and this togetherness are always going to continue until the end of the world. With the permission of the Almighty Allah (swt), we are going to continue the unity and togetherness between us by raising the love of Prophet Muhammad (saw) both in our own hearts and in the hearts of our young people and children.”

Underlining the importance of religious education for children and young people, the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş said:

“Let us do our best to convey the correct religious information to our young people and children. Let us support each other at this point, let us help each other to achieve this goal. The following hadith of Prophet Muhammad obliges us to do it. He says that believers are like a body. No matter where he is in the world, if a Muslim faces a calamity, it should concern and disturb Muslims everywhere, just like the whole body reacts to it when any limb aches in a body. They should be happy with his joy and suffer due to his trouble. This is the Muslim figure that is recommended by the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (saw). Insha’Allah, we are going to be Muslims according to this description and convey to our children and young people the understanding of being Muslims that is characterized by believers’ loving each other and taking care of each other all the time. This is going to be the greatest legacy we are going to leave them. The greatest legacy we are going to leave to our children is an understanding in Islamic perspective. The greatest legacy we are going to leave to our children is to place the blessing of Islam in their hearts.”

After delivering his speech, the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş visited the tomb of Veteran Kırca Ali (Kirdzha Ali) in the courtyard of the mosque and made dua.
