The condolence message of the President of Religious Affairs Erbaş, for the former President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars al-Qaradawi

President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş published a condolence message for the deceased former President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Yusuf al- Qaradawi.

President of Religious Affairs, Erbaş, used the following expressions in his message:

“I am in grief over the passing away of Former President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars Prof. Dr. Yusuf al-Qaradawi, one of the respected scholars of the Islamic world.

The passing away of the scholar is like the death of the world. All scholars who adopt the divine revelation as their mission in life, guide humanity to the truth, and show the ways of living in the right direction are the heirs of the Prophets. They are earth candles that illuminate the path, horizon and future of humanity.

The deceased Yusuf al-Qaradawi, one of the candles of our time, will always be remembered with mercy and gratitude for generations as a distinguished scholar who devoted his life to understanding and living of the provisions, principles and values of Islam, fought for the defense of the ummah, and inspired Muslims with his righteous stance.

May Almighty Allah (swt) grant him His consent for him to receive Allah’s endless mercy and forgiveness in the eternal world. We pray to our Almighty Allah (swt) that there will be a gathering of prophets, martyrs, truthful people and righteous people in Ruz al-Mahshar (day of judgment). I wish patience and express my sincere condolences to his family, loved ones and the entire Islamic world.
