President Erbaş visits Saint Ilyas Eastern Orthodox Church in Hatay, Türkiye

Coming to the region after the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş and made official visits in Hatay, President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş went to Samandağ District afterwards.

Visiting to Saint Ilyas Eastern Orthodox Church there, President Erbaş was welcomed by the Chairman of Samandağ Eastern Orthodox Church Foundation Dr. Dimyan Emektaş, Father Abdullah Yumurta and Father Mahir Yakupoğlu on his arrival at the church.

Extending his get well wishes and condolence messages, President Erbaş said, “We will embrace our sufferings in unity, and solidarity if we act in unity and solidarity. May the Almighty Allah (swt) help us.”

Expressing their satisfaction from the visit, Chairman of Eastern Orthodox Church Foundation Dr. Dimyan Emektaş expressed their gratitude to President Erbaş.

Subsequently, President Erbaş had conversation with the citizen in the courtyard of the church.

At the visit, President Erbaş was accompanied by Governor of Iğdır Hüseyin Engin Sarıibrahim and Vice President of Religious Affairs Kadir Dinç.
