“Islamophobia is an eclipse of reason transformed into hostility to Islam”

In his message on the occasion of International Day to Combat Islamophobia, President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş said, “Islamophobia is an eclipse of reason transformed into hostility to Islam.”

President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş shared a message on his social media accounts on the occasion of March 15 International Day to Combat Islamophobia.

President of Religious Affairs Erbaş used the following expressions in his message including the photo of the Al Noor Mosque, which was the target of the terrorist attack on March 15, 2019 in Christchurch, New Zealand:

“We express once again on the occasion of International Day to Combat Islamophobia that Islamophobia is an eclipse of reason turned into hostility to Islam and it is a human rights issue that includes racism. Our unyielding struggle against this dirty mentality will continue.”
