President of Religious Affairs Prof. Erbaş receives the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims' Board Mr. Paşazade

During the meeting held at the Istanbul Provincial Mufti's Office, President of Religious Affairs Erbaş stated that Turkey has experienced one of the biggest earthquakes in history and said, "It has been a devastating disaster, but alhamdulillah, Turkey is a strong and great country. May Allah be pleased with you. Azerbaijan has been working with the search and rescue teams since the first day. May Allah (swt) bless all our Azerbaijani brothers, especially the President Ilham Aliyev and yourself. You called us immediately on the first day, made dua for us, you offered your condolences, these are unforgettable issues.”

“The People of Azerbaijan is with you”

Conveying his condolences for those who passed away in the earthquakes, the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims’ Board Paşazade put an emphasis on the brotherhood between two countries and stated that Türkiye's pain is Azerbaijan's pain.

Paşazade wished mercy from Allah to those who were martyred in the earthquake and those who were martyred in Turkey and Azerbaijan for the sake of the homeland and prayed for the deceased.

Expressing that Azerbaijan was with the Türkiye as state and nation from the first moment of the earthquake, Paşazade said, “People of Azerbaijan is with you. May our brotherhood be everlasting.”

Provincial Mufti of İstanbul Prof. Dr. Safi Arpaguş was also present at the meeting.
