Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, the President of Religious Affairs, visited the pupils of a Qur’an and Hafiz Course for kids ages 4 to 6 that is run by the Strasbourg Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (DİTİB)
Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, the President of Religious Affairs, visited the pupils of a Qur’an and Hafiz Course for kids ages 4 to 6 that is run by the Strasbourg Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (DİTİB).
Mr. Erbaş noted in his address to the students that learning about Islam is a fundamental obligation of every Muslim.
After reminding the hadith “The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it,” Prof. Erbaş congratulated the hodjas and students, wishing them continued success.
Subsequently, President Erbaş visited the students who receive hafiz training in their classroom, and expressed his appreciation to the students who greeted him at the door.
In his conversation with the students who are the hafiz trainees, President Erbaş emphasized the importance of memorizing the entire Qur’an.
Visit to the Turkish Permanent Representation to the European Council
President of Religious Affairs Erbaş also visited Turkish Permanent Representation to the European Council. President Erbaş met Kaan Esener, Turkiye’s Permanent Representative to the European Council; Refik Ali Onaner, Turkish Ambassador to Paris; and Muzaffer Rami Şaylıman, Turkish Consul General to Strasbourg, in his visit.
At the visit, Presidency of Religios Affairs General Director of Foreign Relations Erdal Atalay, General Director of Religious Publications Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Kurt, and Consultant of Religious Affairs in Paris Dr. Bayram Demirtaş accompanied to President Erbaş.
