President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, who was in Japan to participate in a series of programs, introduced the Japanese translation of the Holy Qur'an published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs to opinion leaders of Japanese society.

Giving a speech at the program held at the Tokyo Mosque Turkish Cultural Centre, President of Religious Affairs Erbaş said that the Holy Qur'an conquers the minds and hearts of the cities before Muslims gather the power to conquer those cities.

President Erbaş pointed out that in conquering hearts, Holy Qur’an, and our Beloved Prophet (saw) had the unprecedented success that no belief and philosophy in the world had.

Reading the holy verse, “And We have certainly made the Quran easy to remember,” President Erbaş uttered that people are invited to take our Holy Book as a guide with this verse.

“We, as the Presidency of Religious Affairs, have translated the Holy Qur’an into 40 languages”

Stating that Muslims have been striving to deliver the Holy Qur'an to distant cities for centuries, President Erbaş said, "We, as the Presidency of Religious Affairs, have translated the Holy Qur'an into around 40 different languages."

Introducing the Holy Qur'an published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs in Japanese, President Erbaş stated that the translation works started in 2018 and said, "We will give effort to deliver the Japanese translation prepared by Turkiye Diyanet Foundation to the highest number of people as soon as possible."
