Giving a speech at the farewell ceremony which was held on the occasion of humanitarian aid trucks which were sent to Azerbaijan, the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş said that, “brothers are those who come to help in hard times without being called. Insha Allah, our trucks which take the road with this slogan and whose burden is brotherhood shall arrive in Azerbaijan safely”
The Presidency of Religious Affairs and Turkiye Diyanet Foundation sent 6 trucks of humanitarian aid materials to Azerbaijan with the slogan, “brothers are those who come to help in hard times without being called.”
Giving a speech in the farewell ceremony which was held in the campus of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş talked as “first of all, we are sending our love and fondness to our brothers from Azerbaijan, martyr’s relatives, and veterans in order not to leave them alone. Also, by sending these materials which they need with our trucks, we are trying to demonstrate once again that Turkey stands by its brothers from Azerbaijan.”
Pointing out the bonds of friendship between Turkey and Azerbaijan, the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş talked as “in order to emphasize that we are one nation, two states, and demonstrate that we are standing by our brothers from Azerbaijan in times of happiness as well, we are sending six trucks with prayers, which includes nutrition, toy, and medical materials and which were prepared by Turkiye Diyanet Foundation with the support of our benefactor nation.”
Expressing that they especially desired to share happiness of children with the toys which they sent them as presents, the President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş used expressions as “we are sending these materials as presents, and we want to share happiness of our friends, brothers on the occasion of the victory which they achieved. These words which were written on our trucks is really meaningful, “brothers are those who come to help in hard times without being called.” Insha Allah, our trucks which take the road with this slogan and whose burden is brotherhood, shall arrive in Azerbaijan safely.”
Expressing that “we treat our martry’s relatives, veterans, and all Azerbaijani brothers with great respect,” the President of Religious Affairs Prof Dr. Ali Erbaş continued his words as follows:
“We are not only sending materials which they need, we are also sending love and fondness of the Turkish nation which consist of 84 million people. May Allah (swt) help you! Insha Allah, our mosques which is located in the Karabakh shall be repaired, and Insha Allah, the sounds of adhan shall rise in every inch of Karabakh until the judgment day, and the Azerbaijani flag will fly over the territory of Karabakh until the judgment day as the expression which is used in our national anthem by our national poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy, “these adhans and their testimonies are the foundations of my religion, and may their noble sound prevail thunderously across my eternal homeland.”
Following the prayers which were said by the Vice President of Religious Affairs Dr. Burhan İşleyen in the farewell ceremony, the trucks took the road to Azerbaijan.
Farewell ceremony was attended by the Chairman of High Board of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Haçkalı, Vice Presidents of Religious Affairs Osman Tıraşçı and Dr. Burhan İşleyen, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees İhsan Açık, and officials from the Presidency of Religious Affairs and Turkiye Diyanet Foundation.
