Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, the President of Religious Affairs, with the delegation accompanying him, visited the Office of Kosovo Turkish Representation Committee, which operates under the body of KFOR.
Visiting the Turkish soldiers in Sultan Murat Barracks, the President Erbaş met here Colonel Yunus Emre Işıkoğlu, Chairman of Kosovo Turkish Representation Committee.
Following the meeting which was held closed door, they had a souvenir photograph taken.
After delivering khutbah and establishing the Friday prayer in the Sinan Pasha Mosque in Prizren, the President Erbaş visited the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Prizren.
Meeting the Consul General Serdar Özaydın, President Erbaş said that it is particularly important to perform duty in the lands of the Descendants of the Conquerors.
Stating that almost ninety-five percent of the population of Kosovo is Muslim, the President Erbaş said, “Insha Allah, this rate never decreases. We must provide our people, the Muslims, to feed of the authentic religious information. If we leave a gap there, someone will fill that gap.”
Expressing that the temples have a significant place in the world of faith of people, the President Erbaş noted, “It has been always like this in the world history. Temples exist together with the man. Since the time of Adam, the man has been exhibited their faiths by their temples.”
During the official visits, the President Erbaş was accompanied by Çağrı Sakar, Ambassador of Republic of Turkey in Pristina; Osman Tıraşçı, the Vice President of Religious Affairs; Hafiz Osman Şahin, the Chairperson of the Board of Inspection and Recitation of the Qur’an; and Mustafa Irmaklı, the Member of High Board of Religious Services; and Nevzat Sabri Akın, the Consultant of Presidency of Religious Affairs Religious Services in Pristina.
