President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş reacted strongly against the Swedish police's decision to give permission to an extreme conservative demonstrator to protest in front of Turkiye's embassy in Sweden.

President Erbaş stated that with the attitude they have exhibited, the Swedish authorities have become partner in the hate crime against Islam, Muslims and Turkiye and Swedish authorities have also targeted social peace and that, they will continue the struggle against these dirty minds until the end.

President of Religious Affairs Erbaş made the following statements on his social media accounts:

"I curse and strongly condemn the permission given by the Swedish authorities to a demonstration in front of the Embassy of Turkiye in Stockholm, which aims to burn the Holy Quran, our almighty book which was sent to bring people from ignorance into the enlightenment.

With this attitude they exhibited, the Swedish authorities have become a partner in the hate crime against Islam, Muslims and Turkiye and also Swedish authorities have targeted social peace. We will continue our struggle against these dirty minds until the end."
